Carr was our dependable do it all guy. Really could've used him tonight. We have got to get him back to 100%. I admire him wanting to play, but trying him out these last couple games isn't helpful. Rest him and get him right. Can’t be losing anymore games that we should win. We aren't even close to our best without both Butler and Carr.

I’m a little confused .. Pope reported him healthier than he’s been for a while but he looks soooo limited .. he went from a legit offensive option to invisible.. what’s happened ???? Maybe he’s not really healthy ? If not , rest him til he is .
So very effective early , now doesn’t even look to be part of our offense , can he not start our offense out high ? He can pick n pop from top of key .

Yeah Carr is a mystery. How hurt is he? Out a few weeks? Day-to-day? Questionable? Game time decision? Then he plays and looks like he shouldn’t, color me confused. We used to go to him when we needed someone to steady the ship. We tried that a couple times in this game and I'm not sure we ever even got him the ball on those possessions, LOL. Turnovers on attempted lobs into the post. Might as well rest him for a few more games and give Noah some run. Worst case scenario you still give one of the guys that will be on the team next year some experience.

Speaking of health and injuries, should I just accept that Kerr isn't coming back this season? I haven't read an update on him in 2025.

This team was built around the idea of winning by having an absurd amount of B to B+ level players.

Take a few of those away and this team loses its competitive advantage IMO.

Each of them have their own deficiencies that can get masked, made up for, etc when the other B level players make up for it.

Almonor, Chandler, Garrison, and Perry combined for 64 minutes in the game. With a healthy roster that number doesn’t get to half that number ideally.

His trajectory has reminded me of kinda what happened with Tre Mitchell last year. Skilled bigs who are limited laterally and start to regress once we take on really athletic teams.

Since now time won’t be an excuse, Pope will need to provide a significant upgrade in talent to next years roster.
Bringing in mid-major players just to fit this enigmatic “system” that doesn’t include quickness or defense won’t cut it.

I'm just hoping Coach Pope has what it takes to do this job. Kerr and Butler both being out is just too much for this team. Carr as well.

The talent difference showed up tonight. Thiero was the best player on the floor. Nobody to match him. Recruiting and transfer portal has to be top notch for next year. Need more dudes.
