This stat can’t happen

That's a BAD stat. Can understand losing to Georgia, but USC, MO and Vandy at home? Nope.

Really surprised at how poorly the defense has played 3 games in a row. LBs were non entities tonight. Pass rush made Milton look like an upper tier SEC QB when he's looked anything but against everyone else. And letting him gash us with his legs when he's not particularly fast is galling.

When your opponents all sign Top10 signing classes and UK signs borderline 25 signing classes then it’s reflected in your record.

When you sign a coach to a Top 10 contract and this is his record, it’s the time to blame the fans and tell us we don’t buy him enough good players to keep up. Instead of preparing his team or improving his team, just blame the fans and the sad thing, the fans are now blaming themselves for not forking over enough money for Stoops to field a decent team. 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Yea, this is a brutal stat. Good teams win at least one of the two between Mizzou and UT. I have no idea what has happened to our defense which has always been stout against the run until the last 3 weeks.

Yeah; the coach doesn’t matter much. Sorry but don’t think you watch much football. Saban wouldn’t win without Top classes. Coaching helps on the margins and building culture. Stoops has done some of both of those things and some years more than some.

Stoops contract is fair to be picked apart all people want. I think some of that is valid! Also, not my money or taxpayers money so always seemed like a dumb thing to argue about. Only ones who get to bitch are rich boosters paying it.

People still seem to have a hard time accepting that UK simply doesn’t have the recruiting base that the rest of the SEC (minus Vandy) has. It really does put us behind the 8-ball. Our best classes with Stoops are still easily in the bottom half of the SEC recruiting rankings. That’s a tough spot to be in.

Do you need a top ten recruiting class with some ( at least sometimes ) meaningless star system to get your defensive linemen in a 3 or 4 point stance ?? Was it lack of recruiting that had our defense stating at the sidelines like we are running some complex scheme and need a play called on Defense? Just a pathetic performance . They have now hung. Near a 100 on us in 2 games .. very putrid .

I would like the sport more if a team could win the SEC with a four year average recruiting class that’s borderline Top 25 but it has yet to happen in the modern era. Some folk get in their feelings and forget this very simple rule of nature every year when a UK loses several in a row because lower recruiting classes and less depth (also tied to recruiting). I figure more would have learned by now.

The team was still fighting in the 4Q last night despite playing from behind all game. That’s a good sign of coaching and culture but the same folk see past that

They were looking at the sideline because they were adjusting to UTs personnel in a hurry up…? Happens every week across CFB. Watch more of the sport if you have the time.

Vandy, Mizzou, USCjr, they're not signing top 10 classes. If you're talking about UGA and Bama, then I agree. The others, UK has enough talent to compete with most any other team in the league. What they don't have is the coaching.

Well dumbass if there are no substitutions then the players on the field don’t change .. why aren’t we in a stance when the ball is snapped ? Over and over again ? I don’t expect an intelligent answer

Pretty fair analysis.

Gave up 10 points because a DB fell and gave up an uncontested 40 yd td plus a horrific official’s call which led to a fg. Neither a coaching problem.

Had a chance to get the lead late. UT is very good and a powerful offensive group. We hung in despite defensive lapses. Was surprised Samson ran inside on us so easily. Very entertaining game.

Those teams aren't winning the SEC either. If you are signing borderline Top 25 classes you'll lose to those teams every once in a while. Stoops has good records against all of those. Not sure your point.

The answer seems to be a move to the ACC. Had several chances in the past and they would gladly take us now. Less money but we would be at the top with all our athletic teams.

Could compete in nil and a less physical conference. Better national rankings and might help recruiting in some sports. I think probably less cheating overall.

Don’t produce enough home grown D1 football players to go against the SEC.

We would be a title contender in football and basketball immediately. Baseball gets an easier road. All sports get a boost in scheduling.

If conference titles and national rankings are the thing get where you can compete.

I don’t think it would bother me to trade the SEC in football for the ACC. Not the prestige but more wins and an equal footing and less complaining. Not many losses to top 10-20 programs.

“When your opponents all sign Top10 signing classes” - This was taken directly from your post. That implies ALL of UKs opponents. My point is simple, UK has enough talent to be competitive with just about any school in the league, coaching is keeping them from getting there.

I’d be more sympathetic to firing Stoops if he didn’t beat those teams as much as he has. He usually takes care of business against them and flordia.

Mizzou South Carolina and candy don’t sign top 10 classes. Don’t think we’re level
