Doron Lamb was automatic. He rarely missed. Hit big 3s from day 1. Shot damn near 50% from 3 as a frosh.
Green is misinformed on this one. Lamb deserves major respect for his shooting as a freshman and his 2nd year. Lamb had like 3 or 4 3's in the finals after about 79 games.

As far as Cal's players...

Lamb and eventually Murray and Monk were the same for me.

Lamb was usually set and open - the other two can pull shots out of their rear ends and make them... even their terrible shots you had to raise an eyebrow because they swished many of them.

Then he goes out in the McDonald's game and goes 4-12 and 1-6 from 3. Don't mean to throw shade on the kid, but Brandon Knight and Tyler Ullis could shoot a bit better than that.

Hope that game was an anomaly, but when he gets here, the defense will be better than he has ever seen. The SEC stresses defense more than any other conference.
