For those fans who have harassed Higgins and his business, and allowed some to portray his corrupt self as a victim in all of this, please stop and be a rational person for a second. You're not helping the situation. Let this blow over, and focus on doing something productive such as advocating for ways that the NCAA and it's officiating can clean up their act and become more transparent.

And for those fans telling us "this is why everyone hates us" please buy a clue and realize that they hated us when we raised money for Haiti, they hated us when our players visited sick kids in the hospital, and they'll always hate us so long as we're out-recruiting them for these bad brothers that will beat their favorite teams to a pulp. And please stop worrying about what this group or that group thinks about us. They don't like us, they ain't never gonna like us, and they'll use anything they can against us to justify not liking us. You didn't harass the ref, I didn't harass the ref, so stop with the self-loathing and attempts to pin everything a few fans do on all of us. Try as you might, I'm certainly not taking the blame or feeling the guilt for that, holmes. Don't you put that evil on me.

For the record, our team of good young men is the ones who deserved better in all of this, not some corrupt middle aged official who finally got caught up to by karma after years of questionable calls in tournament games, so be proud of how our guys handled themselves and focus more on how a great Kentucky kid like Dominique Hawkins is feeling knowing that bad officiating is what his final game as a Cat will be remembered for. Focus more on how this was the one shot at a national championship for a lottery pick like De'Aaron Fox-- a thoughtful young man whose first impression with us was his invitation for a disabled UK fan from his high school to meet Cal during his in-home recruiting visit-- who laid it all on the line, and how we'll never know how big his legend might of became had that game been called just a little more fairly.

And for all the haters and talking heads, y'all can stick it. Guess what, we're gonna bring in yet another group of elite players to dunk on your favorite team and rip out their soul. Not only will I never apologize for being a Kentucky fan, I'll never apologize for wanting to bring in every top recruit in the nation and smoke your favorite team by 50. I'll never apologize for wanting to go 40-0 and win the national title every year. I'll never apologize for wanting my team and my state to be the very best. If you don't have big aspirations for your program then you shouldn't even call yourself a college basketball fan. Stop with the Mary Poppins, rainbows and sprinkles, student-athlete, purity of the college game bullcrap and just admit that you want to beat our team as much as we want to beat yours and that none of you truly care whether that means having to do it through upperclassmen, one-and-done's, fake classes to keep players eligible (that happened at "right way" UNC, not "evil" UK, btw), bribing recruits with hookers that got it poppin' all the way to the ceiling (that happened at "Program First" UofL, not "passionless OAD factory" UK, btw), or a steel chair attack from the crooked referee, so spare me the self-righteous garbage and stick to worrying about if your team can even keep up

Well said....that shot didn't hurt near as badly as Latener's. we had the lead there was 1.2 seconds on the clock. It was a poorly defended play. Who know if Higgins would have allowed us to even score in overtime.

THIS. ^^^^^^ I made a thread calling out all of the holier than thou morons that's crawled out from under their rocks the last two days and it got deleted. A couple idiots tried to give me shit but I shut them down pretty quickly. At least give the DBAGS their own little thread for them to bash us loyal UK fans in..and the loyal UK fans can avoid them like the plague.
