This is telling about the SEC

Everyone is talking about UK, Auburn, Alabama and Tennessee, meanwhile Missouri just be Kansas, and Florida and Oklahoma are 9-0. Wow.

Vandy was projected 16/16 in the SEC Preseason predictions and we are 9-1 with several quality non conference wins (Cal, Nevada, TCU at Va Tech). We play a fun style and have some real offensive and defensive weapons.

Hear this:

I honestly have no clue where we end up in the SEC, I can see us ending up in the top 5 or being dead last, no clue how this thing plays out. I think it's going to be hard to win on the road in this league, like really hard.

Top 5 is asking a lot. There are 7 or 8 teams in the SEC with better wins than Vandy. You’ve got good wins, but comparatively, not so much.

South Carolina is the lowest ranked team in Kenpom and I believe they’re 68th. Keep in mind… the tournament has 68 teams in it! When the SEC/ACC challenge happened there were ten ACC teams ranked lower in Kenpom than the lowest team in the SEC (at the time Vandy)

Right, you’re kind of missing the point which was we could end up surprisingly high or very low. Not basing that off our wins or trying to compare us to others, league play will sort all of that out.

Not true. The SEC will give us several quality wins, it is the best league this year. Already have big wins v/s Duke and Gonzaga, and losing on the road to Clemson is not a bad loss. Clemson is legit and a Quad 1 loss. Having said that, Colgate, Louisville, Ohio State and brown, UK SHOULD win them all. Missouri beating Kansas shows the SEC is stout and any win will be a very good tournament builder. No bad losses in the SEC this year like previous ones.
the worst SEC team currently is probably SC, they are 6-3 and have beaten 2 ACC teams, though not great ones.
SEC will have 9 teams in the top 25 tomorrow, with projected UT #1, Auburn #2, UK #4, Bama #7/8, Florida #10.
Florida 9-0 #10
Oklahoma 9-0 #14
Tenn. 8-0 #1
Vandy 9-1 (unranked)
UK 8-1 #4/5
Mizzou 8-1 #20 Just beat Kansas
Auburn 8-1 #2
Miss State 8-1 (unranked)
Ole Miss 8-1 #23 only loss was to then #13 ranked Purdue by 2.
Georgia 8-1 (unranked) only loss was to top 5/6 ranked Marquette.
LSU 8-1 (unranked) only loss was to #18 Pitt.
Texas A&M 8-2 #17
Bama 7-2 #7/8
Arkansas 7-2 (unranked) Only losses then #8 Baylor and @ Illinois
Texas 7-2 (unranked) losses to Ohio State and #24 UCONN

This post was from the ACC / SEC challenge thread, pretty telling how stacked the SEC is. I didn't even mention the quality wins v/s other conferences.
