My whole life, UK has been getting the screw job by the refs and nobody cares because we are bottom feeders. This cannot stand any longer! Stoops needs to file a formal complaint and blaitantly talk in the press about the terrible calls UK gets every game. Mizz has been holding the whole game, never called. We hold once on a 40 yrd pass, flag thrown. Bogus pass interference calls bringing back a legit pick 6. This is unnacceptable and someone needs to be held accountable!!! SCREW THE REFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Part of changing the culture is overcoming this kind of bs! Can't complain if we lose without it seeming sour grapes, but if we win, Stoops needs to make a big deal about it publically to SEC officials!

Referees were terrible tonight. UK was getting screwed most of the game, but have to admit that we got a friendly PI call on a drive that ultimately ended up in a TD and also got a nice spot on that last drive.

This crew has been suspended by the SEC before though, so we definitely didn't get the A team tonight.

In the past we would have let those calls against just kill us, but we stepped up and beat the refs and Mizzou. Honestly though if Stoops calls out the refs publicly then the refs will kill us even more so each and every week. He needs to address it in the correct way and through the proper channels. Blasting them on tv or to the press will not turn out pretty for us. But I agree, we ALWAYS seem to get F'd over by the zebras every week.

I was going crazy a couple times at CWS tonight (as was everyone else). We got a couple gift calls, but Mizzou got about 10 (calls and non-calls). It was really one-sided. Reminded me of the 2008 Vandy home game.

I could only watch there first quarter, but what I saw I hated. The late hit call brought me off the couch and darn near gave me a stroke. Mauk was at least a full yard in-bounds when he was hit. Might as well let QB's do whatever they want. On that same play, a Mizzou player on the sidelines absolutely laid out UK's player in retaliation for the hit and wasn't flagged for it. Even the announcer saw it and commented on it.

Because of that play, UK's defense had to play soft near the sidelines. On their last drive Mauk was running down the sidelines and because UK was playing off him, he sneaked for an extra six yards.

If he is in bounds, he's fair game. Heck, if any part of him is in bounds, he's fair game.

I'll take it one step further. If you even step on the field, fair game. The pussification of America commences.

The interference call on the interception was really bad. Jeff P. had to take off his mike to avoid saying something on the air that he should not have. The receiver was five yard beyond where the ball was thrown and had stopped to come back toward he ball he ran into the corner back while both were looking for the ball. The ball would have been intercepted even if that player had not been covered at all. The ball was uncatchable by the receiver and the flag should have been picked up. The call did fire up the crowd and the defense so maybe it was not all bad.

Plenty to complain about but not this. Mauk was a full yard out ou bounds before he was pushed. You have to know where you are at on the field. It was the correct call. Yes the Missouri player should have been flagged as well for retaliation.

I can't scream the refs wanted them to win otherwise we would not have gotten the PI call in our favor on the go ahead TD drive. Looked like pretty straight up defense to me and well played. Refs did not call an even game but I chalk that up more on them just not being very good.

This was the worst game I've ever seen called and its not even close. They erased all our big plays with bogus calls and the spots were absolutely turrible

False. The slow mo replay showed his foot hadn't even touched out of bounds when he was hit. If you can spot the ball where it is before the player touches OB, then you can also hit him. Learn the rules.

We got a pretty good team. Give us a legit officiating crew and we beat Mizzou by at least 3 TD's, prolly more.

What game did you watch?

OK, but even if the guy was out of bounds, the Mizzou lineman clocked our guy about 5 seconds AFTER our guy hit mauk. Palmer and musberger were shocked that it wasn't called. At worst, the penalties should have been offsetting.

This^^^^ Questionable call on the original late hit that could have gone either way...but to not call the retaliation hit was beyond ridiculous and horrible officiating

I went back and watched the game again. The non calls on their holding was the worst I've ever seen at any level. A dude grabbed Hatch from BEHIND and pulled him down by the shoulder pads 10 ft away from the line judge and no flag. Ware had his jersey pulled off of his shoulder pads with no flag. Flannigan got tackled like he was a ball carrier and no flag. It was bad last night but watching again to see how many calls were actually missed is really eye opening. I'm with the guy that said we beat these guys by 3 TDs with a good officiating crew.

he needs to do a formal complaint to SEC but doing so to do the media, SEC will fine him..its a no no

UK football has almost never received a favorable whistle from the SEC refs. It has been that way for a very long time.

And it seems to be at the most inopportune time early in the games for UK and then amazingly in the 4th quarter the penalty yardage will always somewhat even out. SOS since I started going to games in 1984. FRUSTRATING but hopefully changing.

The thing is, we have the players to over come those calls by the refs... Yes, IMO, we have been getting bad calls for years, especially against Florida over the years....
