Think any of our "Missed" recruits have regrets today?

How many of our "missed" recruits just facepalmed themselves? After watching the draft and seeing that UK backups are being drafted in the Lottery and that Cal has bigger connections than most of the other collage coaches combined. Add to the fact that he stands by them and gives them the needed support, even when they aren't considered the best. If you play for Cal he treats you like family, unlike other coaches that drop you the moment you stop benefiting them (cough Self...Pitino) .

We missed out on so many recruits this spring due to negative recruiting, you have to think that at least a few of them had second thoughts last night. I'm wondering if they allowed outside sources to dictate their choices and are now regretting the decision once they see what could have been.

Hopefully all future recruits keep this draft in mind when the negative recruiting starts up again. Whereas "Platooning" was used against us, Cal can now where it as a badge of honor.

Doubt it, people on this board spend a lot more time thinking about them than they spend thinking about UK. There were 10 non Kentucky players drafted in the lottery, each of the guys that went elsewhere think they will be a lotto pick next year regardless of wear they went to school.

You're probably right. However if you are considered a One and Done player, why would you EVER choose a school other than UK or Duke? There is just so much at risk and Cal and Coach K has proven that they won't screw up your future.
