For all we know he might not be injured. Might be grades. Maybe he is suspended for off court issue.
Things like that happens all the time with every club. Lots of coaches just say player is injured.
I'm not saying this is the case. But it absolutely could be something other than a injury.

He has been wearing that device on his back for several games. He didn’t play in the second half of Louisville and hasn’t been back. I think he has been hurt but Cal isn’t going to let him go until he can play like a beast and doesn’t risk hurting it again. Gonna be an added bonus when he does come back because he is gonna be fresh.
