The interest from UK was especially important.

It's funny how these kids always seem to say they were waiting for a UK offer, then they don't choose UK.

It's like a badge of honor to get the offer and even more of an honor to "choose their own path" instead of UK.

Right. And Booker, Ulis, and Matthews weren't very highly rated either. If Calipari sees Kentucky level talent in him, that ought to be good enough.
