How is that a foul on Poythress? Pushing? 6 players under the basket and the call is a push on AP. No wonder our bigs have had foul trouble all year.

No need to put a persecuted tone to it, NCAA officiating is awful. It absolutely ruins a lot of games. Including many we all watch and care nothing about. They've got to back off. Some how, some way. All these great athlete's, and some, many even become FT shooting contest.

I agree, this is bullshit. The only reason UT is in the game is because they keep getting to the line off BS calls. It's like you can't play defense anymore.
That last foul on Briscoe was such a late call. Almost like the ref waited to see if the basket was made or not.
Now I know the refs are playing the point spread. We have a guy thrown down trying to get a reb and no call. Then a foul 3 point attempt for UT that the guy never touches him.
This is getting as bad as Kansas, you can't even play defense in this game. These kids don't even know what to do. Briscoe just got completely robbed and that third foul on Poy was a head shaker also

Just watched it 3 times in slow mo and the player jumped for the shot and landed on Briscoe's back and they called a block??? These refs are brutal.
I'm not sure of my opinion of that plan. But I would point out that's EXACTLY Coach K plans....you want a big non-conference game? Neutral site or it doesn't happen with Duke.
It's not some fixed beting issue! It's that we have a pro team on the floor and officials feel the need to even the playing field.. It's why other teams can hang all over our bigs and we can't breath on theirs.

It's pretty bad. I use to consider myself a pretty big college hoops fan. I would watch as many games as I could. Now I can not watch any other games besides UK, and even those are tough to watch sometimes. I'd welcome the change to 4 quarters if it meant less free throws. Nothing worse than just watching a constant parade to the free throw.
Way too many whistles lately. Can't tell if we are just screwing up on D, or we actually need an NCAA investigation.
