you're right, I do remember being surprised our 2012 semifinal was scheduled first before the KU-OSU game. curious decision given we were definitely the "it team" that year with Anthony Davis and MKG, and the reputation of the UofL rivalry, that had primetime written all over it but guess all turned out well in hindsight!

UofL doesn't draw eyeballs to the set. They played early in 13, 12, and back in 05.

yeah they don't, but we do. it was more curious to me bc of our involvement, not theirs. UK isn't exactly Wichita State or Illinois, UofL's opponents in those other two FFs. wouldn't expect them to get the late game in those years given who else was in the Final Four, but I guess in 2012, CBS probably thought KU-OSU had more national appeal than our in-state matchup.
