It was a great win.

To trail almost the whole game and get a lead was impressive and a sign of growth.

Pretty awful end of game sequence on defense so plenty to coach up for improvement n March as well.

They needed a win were they saw a reward for fighting. This is the game we’ll look back on if we make a run.

I can remember some teams in past recent years where there wasn't a guy on the team that wanted the ball at the end of the game, or worse, you had a guy who wanted the ball and had no business being the shooter.

This team has 3 guys that want it and we'd trust to shoot it.

plus 3 more that are still better options to close out a game than we've had on at least 2 recent teams.

its a shame UK couldn't win close games early on

Hostile environment, good team, physical game, MSU played really good, and yet we still fought and pulled out the win.

And Reed's decision with 20-ish seconds to launch a pass into traffic rather than keep dribbling and get the foul was another "whoopsie", but with what he gave us total-game I'm fine with that and still wasn't worried much until they tied.

Nothing we can do about Hubbard's three straight circus threes, except maybe foul when up 3 (albeit that would have been way too early). Of course Hubbard had the ball and likely would have faked a shot from out there as the foul was being given and the refs would have fallen for it and given him 3 FTs...

Absolutely. Much better win than the BAMA game IMO because is was done against better resistance than BAMA. Like knocking one 2 feet out of the bunker vs. hitting a 100 yards wedge from the fairway 10 8 feet. The bunker shot was the better performance

Probably the most impressive win of the year. Coming off an essentially perfect game, there is typically a big regression back to the mean (or below) and a loss. They didn't play a perfect game again but just getting out of that situation with a W against a pretty decent team is a hell of an accomplishment...
