The Tweak

Will the new tweak be announced this week? Here is the tweak I would like to see. Flash Skal to the free throw line, he is 6'11", let him turn and dump it inside, or drive to the basket or shoot the 15 foot shot, or pass it back out. If we have a big guy post up on the right elbow, the ball goes to the opposite side, and vice versus. I see NO set plays where all the guys know where the ball is suppose to go. Anybody else see anything that resembles a set play?

The only drive Skal can do to the basket would be in a car.

I am not comfortable anytime Skal touches the ball, much less depend on him quarterbacking a play.
Nice thought, though.
The kid has the weakest hands of any big man I have seen at UK in many years.
When I was a little kid, I wish my dad's hands had been that soft.

Nice thought but Skal doesn't have the basketball IQ to make that many decisions or the strength to fight through when the defense collapse on him.

How long would it take for opposing defenses to take that play away? Two trips down the court? Three? Wasn't the original tweak something to do with taking James Young out of the distribution of the ball? A defense can't make you pass the ball to someone early in the offense. A tweak would have to involve a role change. I think the tweak will involve a phrase than rhymes with "tine pime".

After thinking about this a bit more, try it with Willis, if he gets the ball there they have to honor his shot. Willis has probably earned a start based off yesterday,sit Lee, on the downside Ark is a bad match-up to try this.
