The top point guards to ever play for Cal in order.

Top Five

John Wall
Some might call this a homer pick, but Wall was an All-American and POY candidate who won the Adolph Rupp Award. Their true shooting percentages are virtually identical, and Wall played far better defense. Too, Wall was a transformative player while at UK-- the dance, the excitement, the plays-- his individual intangibles trump the wins and success Rose's team had while he was at Memphis.

Derrick Rose
NBA MVP, even if he didn't deserve it. Underrated rebounder while at Memphis, despite his small stature. One of the Tigers' greatest.

DaJuan Wagner
Wagner was better than most remember. The first of Cal's "player's first" guys and as transformative at Memphis as Wall at Kentucky. Phenomenal scorer and underrated defender. Gets forgotten largely because of tragic illness.

Brandon Knight
Another underrated player. Similar in scoring ability (and team need) to Wagner, but a better shooter. Ice water clutch shots largely forgotten after Harrison's heroics.

Tyreke Evans
Struggled mightily until he was put in the PG spot and told to stay there. Odd player the epitome of "position-less basketball".

Why even make a list if its going to be terrible and have spelling mistakes?

I will do at UK only and by the way anyone who puts Ulis over Andrew is dumb , deaf and blind . ( and also just not very smart ) . At this point it just isn't so . Now I do think Ulis will be a better player eventually but c'mon at this point ?

1.Wall
2. Knight
3. Andrew Harrison
4. Teague
5.Ulis

( really Bledsoe is 3rd but he played SG here )

At UK, I'd go:

1. Wall
2. Knight
3. An. Harrison
4. Ulis
5. Harrow
6. Teague

If one considered Bledsoe as a PG, I'd slot him ahead of Harrow. The poor team around Harrow magnified his insufficiency. Teague, on the other hand, played with a stellar cast, including one of the best players to ever grace Kentucky's campus, that was able to mask and cover for his overall mediocre play.

Darius Washington besides those two missed free throws was pretty good

Lol man Harrow shouldn't be picked over Teague.

1. D.Rose

3 .Knight
4. Tyreke Evans
5. Wagner
6. Tyler Ulis
7. Teague
8. Andrew Harrison

I agree. I'd flip Ulis and Teague for now (Teague's title season tops Ulis frosh season), but after this season I expect Ulis to jump all the way to maybe 4. The top 3 will be a tough nut to crack, but if he keeps on doing well he will be up there in consideration.

I think in a couple more years, the Top Centers to play for Cal list might be as good or better.

Davis, Towns, Cousins, Skal, Noel, WCS, Johnson, Harrellson
