So much embarrassing stuff has happened under his watch, I thought we could all try to document what's happened under his watch. Below is certainly not comprehensive, so feel free to add. And you could argue some of these aren't his fault, but at what point does the quantity of transgressions point to lack of oversight.

Louisville prevents football player from transferring to Mississippi State where assistant who recruited him is now employed.

Pitino told NCAA that his assistants monitored Minardi but when they was asked about it didn't know anything about it.

Probably a list if players taken from other schools that was druggies, rapists, etc.

Just off the top of my head but has to be a lot more.

Once the list is complete send to Bilas to educate him and maybe the Courier Journal. The school needs to clean house and get on the right track like most other schools.

* Two UaVel football players and an "unnamed/underaged cheerleader" shot at a party. It's been over 6 months with no arrests or even a suspect(s). It's an obvious coverup, as the likely culprit is another UaVel student athlete.

Strong had to know Hurtt was dirty when he hired him, but hired him anyway to deliver Teddy Bridgewater. Hurtt gets the show cause and tells Turtleneck that if he is let go, he'll sing to the NCAA about what he's been doing at UaVel.

Krags gets fired for his efforts after only three seasons, and a few years later, Turtleneck bring Bobby Neckbrace back into the fold right on the heels of a sex scandal where he not only got caught boinking the fiance of a fellow athletic department employee, but also hired her into a cushy job in the athletic department so he could keep on boinking her right under her future hubby's nose.

* Turtleneck has continued his policy of signing off on any piece of discarded trash that Bobby Neckbrace wants to drag in.

Great post. Here is the problem that trumps any of the tens of bad things that have happened under his watch:

1. ACC - this is all that UL fans care about (except for 1a). They were a nomad program their entire existence and now they finally feel like they're at big boy table. They credit "Tom"

1a. Winning - they don't care how it's done, they are winning at an unprecedented level for them.

That's it. Go to their board, they don't care about any of the sludge that is associated with UL. They only care about 1 and 1a, and they'll take any amount of bad that comes with it.

I wonder if Jurich contract contains a morality clause ? If so whether the nineteen mill he received over six years could clawed back.

Among other things I would suggest the scheme of how he both himself and his son huge amounts of money and concealed it from the media and taxpayers is a definite moral shortcoming .

And here's the thing. He would be one of the best AD's in histroy (anywhere) with his resume if.......

THEY WEREN'T GETTING CAUGHT.

Nobody cares about cheating if you're good at it. Cal could win 5 titles in a row cheating, I wouldn't care as long as he's smart enough to keep it quiet. The best coaches cheat and play in lighter shades between the lines, they just know how to do it. Cheating and rule breaking for advantage is an art form.

Jurich hasn't done anything other AD's couldn't do. He's terrible at his job because he's now in the open as a cheating fraud. That's exactly what the best won't get caught up in.

Essentially, he's the Bruce Pearl of that side of the program.

Also, nice reminder in case anyone thought maybe Jurich should get another chance for Pitinos mistake.
