The honest truth

The offense lost this game.

Line play was absolutely atrocious.

Receiver play was hideous.

QB play was frustrating to say the least.

On the Barker debate... yes, it would be great to see him. Let me be the first to tell you though: IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. Barker has no SEC experience. Barker will be behind the same offensive line and have the same receivers dropping the ball. I am not claiming Towles is the guy. His passing is suspect, his progressions are way too slow, and he cannot play under pressure. That being said he has wins under his belt and the coaches are not going to take it out on him when receivers dropped balls and the offensive line barely protected him.

The facts remain: QBs are less accurate when under pressure and the receivers did us no favors.

Again, Towles is not the savior. It very well may be true that Barker is much better but the coaches will side with Towles' experience than throwing Barker in the mix.
