Team came out flat, got punched in the mouth on its first true road game. 3 of our starters have never faced that kind of adversity, EVER. Tyler is playing through pain and Lee had to leave the game early(the only two starters who have experience). Yes we have looked good in prior games but damn we are one spoiled fan base, that's for certain.
Im glad we got punched in the mouth. This will be a HUGE coaching tool for UK moving forward. These are the types of game I want as a fan and I know Coach Cal wants this early in the season. Play the tough games, the tough crowds, against adversity and everything else. See what this team is made of and see what and where our game needs work. This will not be an easy ride of a season.
