Say what you want but they did a decent job on defense today, the thing that killed this team was the OREB, learn from it and onto the next. Bradshaw was a no show because of foul trouble but I think Ugo had a decent game, need him to fight for rebounds a lot more though. Lose and learn from these games now before March

We let two guys beat us off of a high ball screen and a moving screen under the basket. There were ways to stop that but Cal is too proud to do it. I would have made any of the other three guys beat us, but getting the ball out of their hands isn’t easy. We would have been better off trapping.

Defensive possession ends with a defensive rebound. Like the guy above said we are the slumpbuster. This will be the best offensive game for A&M all year. It won't be because we are "unlucky" or "everybody plays out of their mind against us" it's because our D is awful. A&M scored 79 against Prairie View and Houston Christian, 78 vs Texas A&M CC

I'm so pissed about the boards but we really haven't done that since Oscar left. If that's the pattern Cal should think about pressing more with Reed, DJ and Dilly to try and get even more shots.

I doubt he goes zone because it can be harder to rebound. He could still pick his spots though and maybe he will like last year in conference.

How many seasons have opposing guards been able blow past our guys and get straight to the rim? How many seasons have poor-perimeter shooting teams lit us up for 40+% 3 point shooting for the game? It seems we get every one’s best shot, but hardly ever do these teams get out best shot back.

This post is from the TAMU game fwiw. Defense was better this game than the last couple for sure. When we couldn’t buy a bucket in the first half we did a good job of shutting down SC and keeping it close.
