The Cards just got a transfer that’s a better version of Deone Walker

I think they have landed 2 Ivy League portal transfers, one OL and now one DL. The IQ on the team is probably on the rise. Looks like a good get. And, his name is Thor! A Harvard grad named Thor. That is awesome.

And, the one from Yale:

I happened to watch the Harvard Yale game, which was a very entertaining close game, just like Army Navy.

But I don't remember seeing any P5 prospects. Seems like Yale had a defensive lineman that set the school record for sacks. But that's not one of the 2 guys that transferred to the Ville.

We offered Mendoza, would have been a nice get.

Yeah. This is usual fan overreaction

But what makes Walker unique isn’t his pure size….but he’s twitchiy and csn explosive burst…Moreso then our defense ends that are much a smaller
And when he adds to all that the motor he showed the last 4 games he's a terror. A good motor is so underrated and can change a players impact so much. I'll take a solid 3 star guy with a good motor over a 4 star without all day. Deone just has it all.

The quoted message board post is just oh, so typical of a “little brother” mentality.

The poster has never seen the fellow play, but has really only one frame of reference: Big Brother down the road.

Is the Harvard player the next Warren Sapp?

I’d be going to be the best ever at U of L?

Will he be the best in the ACC?

The poster doesn’t care about these issues: his only frame of reference is Kentucky Football, and our NT?!?!

Really kind of sad . . . .

Heard they’re looking at a RB from Farleigh-Dickinson that was overlooked by everyone, 5’9 160 LBs, runs a 4.15 and 58” vertical. Not ranked in the top 400 of the portal but think they just forgot to add him, Heisman potential and 1st team AA.

elite height to weight ratio

He went to Harvard, so maybe they brought him in to figure out why they've lost 5 straight to a team they're miraculously always favored to beat.

Bwahahaha!

We’re getting dudes from Georgia and Ohio State. They’re getting dudes from a league that doesn’t (or at least not until recently) even give athletic scholarships. Never change, Cards.

Bear Brohm saw that that Harvard has 7 claimed national championships, even though they're from the 1800s and early 1900s..
he knows that means he got a blueblood transfer

Playing Devil's advocate a bit. It would be nice if our transfers from Ohio state would actually turn out to be good on the field. We've had several that have made little to any impact

He’s also got a 39 1/4 foot long jump.

Mendoza the kid from Yale also had an offer from UK. Thor the kid from Harvard is listed as the #7 DL in the portal according to 247.

Yes I’m aware UK offered the Yale kid. But he chose to play in the ACC over the SEC. Tells me all I need to know about the young man!
