Is that, for the first time since the Duke game, we played with fight and hustle! That "grit" that Cal has been talking about was finally there for most of the game. And we did all this without our best defensive player, in my opinion, Briscoe.

Very impressed. If we can continue this I like our potential.

Better continue to bring the energy. Ole Miss took a better UK team to OT in Rupp last season, and a dangerous LSU bunch will be looking for its first signature win at home.

Agreed and Ulis finding his stroke, Poythress playing like he owned the lane, Lee playing a solid game and the role players playing hard are all encouraging things. This team is going to be really hard to beat when everyone clicks together. Murray will only get better when he starts to make better decisions. When it all comes together #9 will be hanging in the rafters.

Beat UL yet again...it is a big deal whether we acknowledge it or not...we basically controlled that game from start to finish.....very impressive

Another year of tears

The impressive shooting goes without saying. The feel, the confidence, the way the game played out in general, and UK controlling almost the entire 40 minutes was because we played to win, we played with heart and we battled. Very impressed. Briscoe being out, I thought he was going to be the key with respect to containing Lewis and D. Lee. It was a very good game.

I liked our resolve by pulling out the win despite the comeback , they stood firm and that is something to build on .

without question..........3-point shooting. I have been saying all season that until we can prove that our guys can shoot and make the 3's, we will face nothing but zone defenses. Well, our guys can shoot. And, soon they will have much more confidence. Now, opposing coaches have a conundrum.

I was worried about Briscoe's Ft shooting. He draws a lot of fouls and if you miss alot of Ft, it's the same as a turnover. He could not have been in there at the end with the way UL was fouling.

The best thing is shooting very well from deep.

That confidence may well carry over.
Exactly. And we are all the sudden up to 32% now with the last two games. Another few games like that and we are up to the mid 30's, which is plenty good for this team.

I think we can stay around 36-38% during SEC play and that will be fine to help us win the league and fight for a Top 2 seed and the Louisville regional.
