The 3 best restaurants in each SEC East town.

Nashville has world class restaurants, but this guy would put "Pancake Pantry" in his top 3? Seriously? I'm surprised he didn't include IHOP or Taco Bell.

I've been to 7 on the list. Agree, would not put pancake pantry in the top 3. It's more of an experience and a chance to see a country music star.

Agreed! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was identifying "best football road trip" type eateries rather than flat out best restaurants.

Peace

SDS is a joke. It only gets to exist cause SEC fanbases are so rabid they'll even eat up that piss poor ish just to get more coverage. "This is asinine, poorly researched and poorly written... but it's about my team!"

Depends what you wanna rank this stuff on, not everyone has the same tastes in restaurants, so I'm not gonna squabble over a cultural touchstone like Tolly Ho getting left off... But I'll damn sure bitch that an (admittedly) good spot in Midway Ky made the list of 3 best Lexington Ky restaurants.

They put Ramsey's as top 3 in Lexington but you only question Pancake Pantry??? This restaurant has been voted #1 Breakfast Nashville for something like 35 years. It's is as good as it gets.

I'll agree with Malones and Holly Hill. I like Addie's in Versailles, myself. Never been to the diner, sorry to say. Might need to make that to one a destination after I complete the bourbon trail. Aim high, folks

There's nothing wrong with Pancake Pantry but it ain't exactly fine dining. It's pancakes and/or bacon and eggs...two things it's kind of hard to mess up. I could bring you a breakfast from PP and one from Waffle House and doubt you could tell them apart. I've eaten at both many times.
You go to PP because you might see someone, not because their food is any better than anywhere else.

No Golden Corrall either. Not to hijack your thread but the article on the top 5 commitments at each position in the SEC for next year was interesting.

Drake number 2 interior lineman (who BTW they say is one of the best centers to come out in a long time Woody)

Landon number 2 tackle

Kash number 3 inside LB.

LSU has to be the most fortunate football program in the entire country. Louisiana has an outstanding amount of high school athletes and LSU is the only big time Power 5 conference school in t entire state. Few other schools can say those two things. Ohio State is possibly the only school that can say they have a recruiting base just as good and they don't have any other big time in state schools to compete with. Two extremely fortunate schools.

Ho would definitely be welcome on there. Personally, its not the same since its been moved. Much different element in there. I'm afraid it's not going to last. But what do I know? JMO

Everytime I drive by, it's packed. The location does blow though.

Malones and Ramseys??? [roll]

There are about ten on Short and Jefferson and other places downtown better than those two by a country mile
