Texas A&M Opened as 1-Point Favorite

Sounds about right. There's no way I would feel comfortable betting UK to win that game straight up. At the same time, I wouldn't feel good about betting A&M either. That's pretty much the definition of a pick'em game.

We definitely need at least one of Willis or Lee to play. The front court has no scoring without Willis and Lee is a decent rebounder. The game will be close and can go either way. Both times we played there we won in OT. Those games were played with Cal's worst team and best team ironically.

We need Willis more than we need Lee. Why? Because without him, we can't spread the floor enough to open up the inside for drives to the basket.

agreed, without willis a gimmick triangle and 2 defense would probably shut us down. oh wait.....

As of 12:45 p.m., Eastern time, on Saturday, the online betting site "5 Dimes" has the spread at U.K. -1.5.

The spread started out on "5 Dimes" very early this morning at "pick 'em."

If we get this one minus 2 bigs, we are ready for the red pill folks.

Kentucky is -2 now on Bovada. I think betting the first half would be best. Uk is -1\2 point on first half. Texas a/m is +1/2 point

Do we know if Marcus Lee or Derek Willis are fine yet? If they're back to normal then I don't really see why UK would be the underdog in this game. Based on the way each team is playing, UK should be able to win this game by 5-10. Again, this is assuming we get the same team that showed up in SC last weekend.

House and Jones pose a big problem. Along with Caruso.

Not sure who guards them.

We don't know if Lee and Willis are out yet. Even still A&M isn't as good as UK. They are a football school and nobody cares about basketball in Texas. I highly doubt any of their fans can name a player on their team or their coach!

Sounds good. I assumed they would be good to go. Athletes get fast and efficient medical treatment.

Not so from a fan on this site. UK's medical staff uses the slow healing methods as compared to other teams that will be left....un-mentioned...

Why does it matter that they're a football school? That makes no sense. It doesn't apply when UK comes to town. This is a fact we have known about for centuries.

This is going to be a brutally tough game to win. I assume no Poy and having to have played on Thursday while A&M played on Tuesday and this is going to be A&M's Superbowl.
