Last five predictions have come today and all have been for the Dawgs. One was from a Kansas beat writer and one from Jerry Meyer. I know Jerry gets some mixed reviews around here, but he still knows some things. I would be ecstatic if we were to land Mack. That would give us five commits in the 2015 class. We would have landed:
Mack - 4 star, 6'7" wing and #61 in R150
Ogbeide - 4 star, 6'9" center and #91 in R150
Jackson - 3 star, 6'5" combo guard and #124 in R150
Wilridge - 3 star, 6'7" wing and former R150 member pre-knee injury
Edwards - 3 star, 6'10" power forward and came on strong late with offers from Pitt, Marquette, SMU, among others
Our 2016 class has started off strong already having Crump and Harris both of whom are 4 star guards and top 100 players in the R150.
It's really exciting to see us finally starting to make some noise on the recruiting trail. I think that would have been Fox's biggest weakness, but he seems to be turning a corner there, especially with the hiring of Jonas Hayes and Yasir Rosemond.
Okay, I'm done rambling about my Dawgs. I'm just excited that things seem to be headed in the right direction. Maybe we can be the team to take over perennial second place in the SEC now.
