I posted after they beat us that our loss was self-inflicted because UT didn't really do anything different from the first game besides score fewer points. We just didn't play well because the players didn't think they could win without Washington. We absolutely sucked and only lost by 13 after cutting the lead to 8.

Despite the triumph today don't see us winning out with road trips to ark and Florida. TN would get tie breaker so late game on Friday at sec tournament if both go 14 and 4. Hope we get healthy asap.

It’s the fraud of the Quad 1 win system. Kansas and Baylor are both ahead of us because of more Quad 1 wins. But who did they beat?

Our win at Kansas and a win at number 75 are both Quad 1 wins. And the committee tries their best to avoid the distinction between the two unless it helps a particular case.

I wish I would've stated that fact. You hit it, Aike, as usual. but then again, most of us old timers know how they game their own system. We've seen it innumerable ways. And that "reveal" they just had .. hahaha

they really tip their own hat when they got us in the East region with Villanova in Philadelphia. We know how Villanova knows to game that system, right?! you betcha. I'm sure they would LOVE that draw. But I'd be cool with it. Villanova and then Kansas with a chance at the Final Four? Id take it right now.

But I say screw all brackets.

This year's team is good enough to blow up even the most demanding anti-UK draw.

You left out that "they drew a line in the sand after that KY loss. This is a different team than the team that lost to KY by 30."

We just needed to stop that bs talk and didn't get it done, but they are still the same old UT.
