Four-star 2014 tight end and weak-side defensive end recruit Ethan Wolf has received a plethora of offers so far in his recruitment, and he received a major one from an SEC squad yesterday in the Tennessee Volunteers. One of the top 15 prospects in the state of Ohio in the 2014 class, Wolf translates best at the tight end position but could also be a nice fit a DE.
The Minster, Ohio standout currently has offers from the Tennessee Volunteers, Cincinnati Bearcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, Illinois Fighting Illini, Kentucky Wildcats, Pittsburgh Panthers, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Indiana Hoosiers, Boston College Eagles, Louisville Cardinals, Ohio, Toledo, and Bowling Green.
Ethan Wolf has generated plenty of in-state interest, and the Ohio State Buckeyes have shown interest in him. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, or the West Virginia Mountaineers throw in offers for Wolf, because those three schools are showing interest. LSU, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame are also looking Wolf.
Firmly entrenched as one of the top 250 recruits in the class, the 6'6″, 221 pound Minster High standout is quite clearly one of the best ten TE recruits in the country. Wolf visited Nebraska a week ago, attended junior day at Kentucky, and he has taken multiple visits to Indiana since November (was offered on an unofficial trip in November, returned to Indiana in late January).
At this point in time, Ohio's talented TE prospect is as wide open as it gets.
