Teams that have beaten Florida Recently

Missouri
Mississippi State
Iowa

This is not exactly a who's who of college football. No reason why we have had 29 chances and haven't won ONE GAME while these schools have all beaten UF.

It's why I now have no confidence they will ever beat them again. It's as much a motivator for Florida to keep it going as it is for us to end it, if not more.

The only consolation is that we thought we'd never end the tennessee streak either and we finally did it at the most unexpected time. The problem is that Tennessee isn't florida, and Florida should always have better talent than UT.

I have never seen our defense play so well against a UF offense for decades and I have been around much longer than that streak. So that is good.

I would disagree that it was unexpected. Tennessee fans weren't surprised. Their team was awful and had completely given up on that coaching staff.

Fair enough, but much like UF, UT fans ALWAYS expected to beat UK. Also, we had a WR playing QB so any UK fan that really thought we were going to win that day is probably lying.
