Team Has A Ton Of Potential

They just have to correct somethings that are frustrating to watch. A few things that bug me are below.

Briscoe has got to start hitting free throws. I have never seen a point guard shoot them any worse than that. Going to hurt us at the end of games.

Jamal Murray tries to do to much at times and gets out of control. He has to try and involve his teammates more when he is struggling shooting. He tends to force things.

Skal Labissiere has to be more aggressive and tougher. He has to establish himself in the paint.

I think Ulis is the only player I really have nothing to criticize at all.

The whole team has to play much harder against these weaker teams. That is due to the youth. So hopefully that gets corrected as the season goes on. The defense has to get much better. It is frustrating watching Wright State scoring so easily. I am not worried about being the best defense in the country this year though. I'd rather have a great offense with a good defense. We are only 4 games in so plenty of time to correct things.

Yeah we are coming off a big win it was easy to predict we would play like this . Also Wright St has played way harder then anyone else we have played despite being by far the worst team we have played and tip my hat to them. Cal is going to work their butts this weekend and I expect we play great on Monday.

Brisco shot well against duke

Murray. Same thing was said about wall and Bledsoe.

Skal has barley played ball for two years. Out his junior year with back injury. And played sporadically last year because of his situation. He will be fine by January. Kid has a ton of talent. Just needs to get his timing down. Don't you remember KAT last year
And all the threads about him? Most wanted to bring him off the bench just to save home a couple fouls Skal will figure it out just like KaT

This team is still learning how to play together. No big time shot blocker this year but great guard play that can offset the lack of interior presence. It will take time for them to come together. GBB!
