You won't see a game all year where the two teams hate each other more. Last year SMU, under Sonny Dykes, beat TCU in Fort Worth and planted their flag at mid field, leading to a brawl. TCU fired long-time coach Gary Patterson shortly thereafter, and hired Sonny Dykes. Today TCU goes to Dallas.

Got the game on now. Yeah, this rivalry has really intensified the past few years, especially after Sonny Dykes left SMU for TCU. Rivalry goes back to the old Southwest Conference days.

Fun fact: Sonny Dykes served as a GA and WR/Special Teams coach at UK under Hal Mumme.
