Seems like they're both cut from similar cloth. What are their differences?
1. Who's faster?
2. Better route runner?
3. Stronger?
4. Taller/bigger?
5. Better hands?
6. More elusive?
7. Better blocker?
8. Bigger threat in return game?
9. Bigger threat as a runner?

It feels like TR is going to be this year's WR but I'm curious as to how they compare. I wouldn't expect TR to catch 100+ balls but then I don't think he'll need to do so as we have plenty of other options unlike last year. Certainly the staff is very pleased to have TR on board but I haven't been able to really get a good idea of how TR and WR are similar/alike from the various comments.

Levis said Sat that he can really tell the additional length Tayvion has over Wan'dale when throwing the same routes. Gives him a bigger throw window than last yr.

Easy answer, Tayvion is taller, not sure how much heavier. Can't answer any of the other stuff. Will be easy to tell in the fall, he clearly is going to be target #1 out of the slot like Wan'dale was. We'll find out how sure handed he is & if he can run away from SEC secondaries.

Haven't heard much feedback from the defense re: TR. I'm also expecting Baker and Brown to figure into the mix sooner than later. My, it's nice to have riches in the WR and TE rooms for a change, isn't it?

Faster - I'd call it even..Neither are elite fast but very fast
Route Runner...hard to Tayvion better than Wandale...Wandale can make some cuts
Stronger....Wandale
Taller...Tayvion
Hands...Wandale had elite hands. He caught in traffic, slants, outs, deep ins, etc...
Elusive....I'd call it even
Blocker No idea
Return game....Tayvion. Wandale was a pretty bad punt return IMO.
Runner....I'd give it to Wandale. His strength is going to be better at breaking tackles IMO.

If I had to guess, I think you're spot on. TR would most likely be a better blocker just because he's a bit bigger. If I had to pick one that I may disagree with it would be route runner as TR has played a lot more snaps at receiver than WR before he came to UK (idiot Frost had him in the backfield quite a bit at Neb) and should be more comfortable just from repetition. Wan'dale can definitely cut on a dime, though, so it may be a push. Agree on WR as a returner - the only phase I was disappointed in him. Thought he'd be more like LBJ but let far too many punts drop and roll. I also don't recall a punt that he broke a big return on - maybe I just don't remember.

I’m in agreement with every one of these .

I thought Wandale was elite in everything except punt returns, He didn't return a lot. Little was the toughest there, he would catch the ball with the coverage a yard away and get away for a nice return. Scared me to death. Shouldn't expect Wandales numbers from any one player this year, amazing how everyone knew the pass was going to Wandale and he still made a play, we should have a lot more targets this year..

I will be surprised if he catches 100 balls, as I don't think he'll get nearly enough targets. I suspect he'll lead the team with 60-80 catches, but the ball will be more even distributed, as the WR/TE room are seriously upgraded, then add that Levis will be in year 2 of essentially the same scheme and won't have to rely on his old crutch WR. Expect much more balance.

No clue on a comparison between the two. I think he brings a skill set that will match really well with what the new OC will be running. In Robinson's highlights from last year, he looks very comfortable catching behind the line, running sweeps, and making tough catches in traffic. He also returned punts and has the tools to be pretty good at it.

T Robinson has a bigger football body and maybe the better player but W Robinson sprinting down the field to set up the win vs. Iowa will keep me watching UK football for many years. Both players may have been the right receiver for their year at UK. T Robinson if he returns punts adds an element that is needed.

Wow … LOVE that video. Thanks!

Wan'Dale would be a first round pick if he wasn't 5'8 with T-Rex arms. He's the best skill player UK has ever had. If Tavion is even 75% of him with the vast array of weapons and a 2nd year Levis, this offense will rival one of the best Kentucky has had.
there was a guy here from Alcoa Tn that wasn't bad, having trouble remembering the name!

In that video, he reminds me of LBJ on punt returns. Not necessarily the fastest guy on the field (although plenty fast) but changes direction very smoothly and quickly without losing a step. At least the video makes it look like he's got really good hands, plays the ball well and isn't afraid to catch over the middle. He's going to be a huge asset this year. Put the stellar TE group and any of a half dozen WRs on the team around him and the passing attack could be downright nasty.

I would be concerned if we didn't have Scangarello as OC that we may rely too much on the passing attack. But, his resume suggests he likes being physical and establishing the run game as much as throwing it all over the field. Mix in a few dumpoffs to the backs and the offense should be potent, for sure.
