Tailgate question

Is there a rule regarding the size of tailgate canopies in the lots? I know most people have a 10x10.

No. The only rule is that you have to stay within the bounds of your particular parking spot.
Some of the people that get in the grass next to the sidewalks have very large tents.

If you're on pavement, you have to leave room for traffic to get by. The spaces aren't big enough for more than 10 x 10.
