Only 8 more days and I'm on my way to Kentucky!!
If he can't get a double double in 4 of his five games he won't be welcome here. Being 17 is no excuse. Not playing college ball before is no excuse. Playing with 3 other freshmen and no returning starters is no excuse. Get ready young man.
How much wood could a lumberjack chop if a lumberjack could chop wood?
I assume he is elgible as soon as he gets here..but that is a complete guess
As soon as the semester is overAny word on when he will become available for playing time?
Wasn't a McDonald's All-American, so he can stay in New Zealand! If he can't get a double double in 4 of his five games he won't be welcome here. Being 17 is no excuse. I wanna see him do his Kiwi War Dance prior to the UL game. They won't know what hit em.
If he's willing to burn half a season of eligibility, and Cal thinks he's ready, I'd be thrilled to get 5 more fouls and another big for rebounding and put-backs.
Have to play ahead of Hump to do that.........no way we can afford to play both at the same time.....5 more fouls to give???????? Hump will never use his 5....For Wynyard to give 5 fouls, he would have to play ahead of Hump.
(Might happen)

I think he would have to jump Hump. Sounds equally bad tho.So, you're saying he has to hump, Hump.?

Well, yeah or jump hump or whatever![]()
That might loosen them up!!!! Yes, I went there. The biggest addition he'll bring is a physicality to practice, that we've probably been lacking down low.
That alone will be a huge help. If he can bang on Skal and Lee in practice, hopefully they'll be more accustomed during games.
He will be able to practice once the semester is over. He won't be able to play until the new semester begins. So that means no UL game.As soon as the semester is over

Wynyard is gonna be a lot better than some think. I think he'll be better than Humphries honestly. By the end of the year he may be getting all Humphries minutes. But he's gonna give us that physical presence that we desperately need. And yeah. Maybe he'll learn Skal how to be a man with them going at it in practice. I could see Tai giving us something like 4pts, 4rbs if he takes Humphries mins.
I will be very surprised if Wynyard is more advanced than Humphries,,maybe a shade quickerWhy would you think that he's that advanced? Humphries has pretty good skills for 17. I'd suggest a bit more data before drawing any conclusions.
