Should definitely redshirt. Unless there are major improvements on his part I don't see any way he cracks this lineup in 2015/2016

Probably won't know for sure the best course of action until close to when he gets here, but if our frontcourt is looking good (at least 4-deep, unless Willis really surprises and we are 5-deep), we should be fine with him redshirting. If Poythress has health issues (God forbid!), or Lee/Humphries aren't contributing as well as we hoped, then maybe let him play immediately. The former seems a better option at the moment, though.

Zero chance he comes in cold and plays more than 2 minutes a game after conference play has started. Chemistry is already set by then, and he would be 9th man, at best.

It would be a waste to not redshirt.

Might as well start with redshirt. Can still practice with the team and can be burned if need be. Safest option and the provides him with plenty of opportunity to develop.

I agree with jjb. If there's an injury and an opening he can step in. Hopefully all will be healthy and he starts a 4 year UK career 12 months from now.

He should redshirt. We have three 5-stars and a 4-star to rotate in at the 4 and 5 spots, he won't see enough PT to justify burning a whole year of eligibility.
