Tai Wynyard #34 LaGerald Vick #49 in the updated 24/7 sports 2016 rankings

You know 2016 is good when Rawle Alkins isn't a top 20 player. Pure stud.

Murray #9 in a loaded class

And just think you had pure dumbasses tell us he wasn't that good and to pass on him. Matter of fact they would never shut up about it and would argue with anybody on how one game doesn't mean someone is good... well what about every game? Does that mean you are a pretty good player if you dominate every game? Guess not.

Scouts have finally bowed to the obvious, and moved Josh Jackson ahead of Jayson Tatum (Rivals also has Jackson #1 now). Apparently, Jackson can be a little inconsistent, which has played into it, but I never quite got how Tatum was supposed to be a better prospect.

Also interesting to see that Meyer has moved Jonathan Isaac up to 20, since that's a name that's suddenly popped up on UK's radar. Have to wonder if Isaac will be Brandon Ingram redux, and end up in the top 5-10. Like Ingram, Isaac is super-skinny, super long, and an excellent shooter. Another guy who UK has made some contact with is Markelle Fultz, who seems to be steadily rising, and is now at 28.

No one seems particularly impressed with Miles Bridges this spring, which is a little surprising, because he's put up numbers in the EYBL. Of course, it matter how you put up numbers, especially in the loose structure of an AAU setting. Meyer has him down to 29, and Rivals also dropped him down to 27.

And if Malik Monk shows a lot of hesitation/Arkansas leanings, I have to wonder if Cal will move on to De'Aaron Fox. Fox has had a great spring, and no one has him all that far behind Monk anyway.

I have long been a proponent of landing more players with punctuation in their names.

gotta agree with you.......Tatum is good, but Jackson is silky

Watched both of them last summer when they played with Newman, Stone, overseas.............really liked Jackson............sure hope Cal is involved

So has Cal. He signed the originator (as far as I know), Amar'e Stoudemire, when he was at Memphis.

De names are getting boring, anyway. DeMarcus, DeAndre, DeMar- nice to spice it up a little bit.

I wonder what vick would be rated in the 2015 class? Suprised to see him at 49 in loaded 2016.

Would love to go after and land Fox. He reminds me of Rondo.
Less of a pure PG, but he's bigger, and he can shoot. But yeah, he has that Rondo/Wall/Russell Westbrook extra gear where he ALWAYS seems like the fastest guy on the court, consistently able to run right past multiple defenders.

Bossi was trying to say that '15 and '16 are the same in that its lacking in sure fire studs. Says Tatum and Giles are good but lacking in the next gear explosiveness that the best have. Have to agree in some ways about those 2 from what ive saw.

I think Monk is a stud but thats just me
Nope. That's me too. Admittedly I've only seen highlight videos but usually a guy will be an elite athlete or a great shooter but not both. Monk looks equal parts Jaylen Brown AND Malik Newman. I want him more than anyone in 16. We'll have to see if Cal can pry him from Arkansas.

I think Jonathon Isaac is a future pro in that class. I would love for UK to get that kid.
