Syncing radio to tv

Easy way for me is using DVR and pausing it to catch up to the stream. But I know not all have a DVR. I believe there is an app to sync radio and TV. Not much help I know.

Does anybody now to do this?
The first obstacle is that the cable TV feed has a slight delay with respect to live radio. You will need a physical device like "sports sync radio" which can pause the radio feed to match the tv. You can try tunein.com or iheart radio and sync that way. Sometimes the audio feed from these sites are behind the tv feed. If you have a pause feature on your cable box then you can pause the tv to match up with the iheart or tunein.com feed.

I have You Tube TV and then I use Iheart Radio for the sound. Streaming Iheart as opposed to using the AM or FM station is better because it puts it behind the TV stream. I pause the TV until the radio is at the spot and then you are good to go. I have noticed that this year that I have to do it again at halftime because it gets out of whack again. The other thing to do is if you have updates on your phone or you message your friends during the game, you need to stop that because they will drive you crazy because they are 30 seconds or so ahead of you. That is probably the biggest drawback for me, but I would rather listen to Tom and Mike.

My wonderful wife bought me a “Sports Sync Radio” device some years ago. It allows you to delay the radio feed by any amount up to 15 sec. It takes a little fooling around to get it synced just right, but once you have it set it is great.

We have Dish. We sync the game with the iheart radio app, we usually have to delay the TV about 90 seconds.

If you have the capability of connecting a radio to your computer, there is a free app called RadioDelay. You can delay the radio up to 180 seconds in increments of 10s of seconds. However, you must first pause the tv long enough to allow the radio broadcast to get ahead. You can sync to absolute perfection...

This is what I have. It is a regular radio, but when the broadcast comes on you just push the delay button until you have it in sync with the tv screen. You can delay by the half second, and it is very easy to use. I only listen to UK broadcast for football and basketball. I think you can google to find their website, and they may be available on Amazon, as well. Great device, and I highly recommend.

Have spectrum and the way I do it. Also, have a sync radio somewhere around the house that my son got me for Christmas a few years ago.

Like others I use iHeartRadio which is significantly behind cable, satellite, or even streaming TV. Delay the TV to match the radio.
Problems:
Can’t change channels during commercials to check on other games unless you want to sync everything up again.
Can’t text with buds, post on message boards or follow real-time stats on UK Athletics site or ESPN unless you like to know what happens before you see it.
