It's wild. Insane world where people will fight to protect predators. Teacher accused of sexual assault just get moved around. Kindergarten teacher that would lock kids in the bathroom with the lights out for "time out".... just couldn't teach kindergarten anymore because they figured older students could reach the light switch.... What's wild is the DA up there is sitting on their ass and doing jack diddly about it. Look, I'm not naive. I get that you have to have a mountain of evidence to get convictions these days because well, juries can be down right weak and wonky, but I'd rather at least try and make a case here instead of letting a child get repeatedly SA'd.

In that podcast it talks about a dude that is still on some board up there due to connections and friends writing letters about his character AFTER he was caught red-handed SA an ELEVEN YEAR OLD CHILD and was ARRESTED during the act.

This isn't D vs. R. This is do the right damn thing.

Schools are out of control because of 1. good teachers inability to provide discipline either from lack of administrative or parental support (or both), 2. lack of adequate funding or misappropriation of funding, 3. lack of parental support as a whole. It's got to stop.

One of the biggest problems we have in this country today is we’ve let two generations now be raised by interactive screens.

The biggest reason we put our two daughters into an all girls private school was because a lot of the boys and young men in their schools had absolute brain rot from being parked in front of a screen instead of actually raised and taught.

I’m not naive enough to think that funding for schools isn’t an issue but even in the better funded schools in better areas problems with the young people and how they act, behave and respond to just even basic social interactions is very concerning to me. They just seem to take a different form imho.

You have complete insanity going on in many city schools across the country and have for years. Its a combination of awful leadership, zero discipline, and absentee parenting.

It would take at least 10 years of very intelligent, focused, painful change to make these environments anything near pleasant for anyone. Itll never happen because modern day society isn't built to withstand adversity and there are always snake oil salesman selling an easier path.

I feel awful for the kids and families trying to do the right thing while financially trapped in these circumstances.

so much dumb in that school system it's easy to pass over obvious red flags because of so many red flags... an abduction on 2 children was made and one kid was so scared that he peed his pants. The school didn't tell the parents about the abduction attempt and blamed the kid for peeing his pants. They then destroyed video of evidence of the abduction attempt... Geezus.

If only this were true, but it’s not. Every single large urban district in this country that is dysfunctional has one or two of the same commonalities. Every one.

i can relate to that. when i was in the usaf i was assigned to a new base, working at base hq down the hall from the cmdr’s office, a two star general. base cmdr’s name was Nigro. first day there i referred to the general as gen negro. my ncoic pulled me aside and instructed me on the correct pronunciation and said “don’t ever say that again.”
