This looks like a repeat of last year's game. HOF but aging QB leads his team into the SB against young hungry, very fast, aggressive defensive team.

After pulling the miracle out of their [backside] I am liking the Seahawks to roll again. Two really good coaches in this one, but Carroll has the better more complete roster.

P.S. I think Marshawn Lynch is an ass clown. Show up, and do your job, which includes answering some questions from the media. What little he talks leads me to think he has an IQ of about 50, which is possibly why he just decided to shut up.

Hate both teams, would prefer the seahawks to win, but am leaning towards N E. If seattle was healthy, id pick them by 7, but w the question marks they have, its gonna be interesting. The key matchup will be the pats oline against the hawks dline. As this matchup goes, so will the game.

Bad Ass Clown......

The Patriots defense is light years better than last year's Bronco defense, and the Seahawk's defense is obviously really good but not quite as good as last year's especially up the middle.

Add it all up and it's just about a dead even matchup. A few important things to watch - the elbow injury to Sherman, and the shoulder injury to Earl Thomas, and how much of a distraction "inflategate" has been to the Patriots.

Also I heard this morning that Tom Brady caught a cold or the flu.

Seattle has a really good defense, but NE has the weapons to attack the Seahawks if the Pats are focused and prepared. This boils down to a simple question. Will NE be distracted, or will NE be pissed? If NE has been distracted by deflate-gate, then Seattle should win easily. But if the Pats come into this game angry and on a mission, the Pats should win that kind of a game. I don't think there is another weapon in the NFL better for attacking Seattle's great safeties than Gronkowski, and Legarrette Blount gives them their best running game in years. Just a question of preparation.

I'll preface this by saying that I've been a Seattle fan for years.
I for one enjoy watching Marshawn's little media interactions. I just enjoyed another one, actually.
He does his job, and while he does "work" for the NFL, he works for Seattle, and he does for that team everything he can do, and then some. The team can't ask for more, the coach can't ask for more, the fans can't ask for more. The only people asking for more is the NFL and the media.
If you feel like it makes him an "ass clown" because he doesn't like answering trivial, and typically stupid questions, by all means, but he openly answers, and even advertises things of importance in his life, things like his charity, his family, his team, friends, coaches, etc.
I find him to be an extremely likeable person, much more-so than these players that are media darlings, and eat the spotlight up, like Tom Brady.

I think Seattle will likely keep one Safety back and let Kam Chancellor play on Grankowski for the better part of the game. Chancellor has Safety speed and skills with a linebacker's body, so that may favor him.
A big factor for New England will be timing. Seattle could possibly live in the backfield, and if Chancellor meets Gronk near the line of scrimmage and plays him physically, it could be a long day for New England's passing game. If Brady is able to get the ball to Gronk though, I think it'll really open things up for their offense.
I'm curious to see how New England runs the ball. Best case scenario, they can run the ball as well as Green Bay did against Seattle, up until Seattle turned it on. Worst case scenario for New England, Seattle handles the run well and won't have to stack the box.
I think a bigger question will be how the Patriots handle Marshawn Lynch running the ball. If he goes on a roll, a scenario similar to last year's super bowl may not be entirely farfetched, because it really opens up the Seahawks' offense.

I predicted Seattle big last year and I don't see much different this year. Think NE's defense is better than Denver's but I also think Seattle's offense is better than last year. Don't see much difference in Seattle's defense. NE stretches the field better than Denver and has a better running game. However, Brady REALLY doesn't like to be hit and I think Seattle hits him a bunch in this game. If he has a subpar game, I can see the 'Hawks winning by 14 or more.

Really not that big of a difference between this years Seattle team and last years regarding offense and defensive numbers. They scored slightly more last year than this year and gave up slightly fewer points last year as opposed to this year too. That being said, I have not been overly impressed with Seattle's team this year. They are very lucky IMO to be where they are, however sometimes you make your own luck and sometimes you are just the benefactor and they have experienced a little of both. I think their luck runs out on Sunday and New England wins the game. I predicted a 38-13 final but that is really just my disdain for the Seahawks talking. I think it will be a good game but with the patriots puling it out in a 24-20 type final.

That's the key matchup in this game IMO and I think whoever get's the best of it will win the game. The Pats are not really a big downfield passing team, they work the underneath routes and will attack the seams, Grok is key to that. If the Hawks can slow him down or neutralize him it will be a long day for the Pats.

If forced to pick, I guess I'd go Seattle based on what happened last year and the fact New England may have the only QB on the planet less mobile than Peyton Manning.

However, I'd say Russell Wilson is the wild card. I'd be tempted if I'm the Seattle coaches to just real option, run Lynch and just take the very occasional shot with play action ... and not put this game in Wilson's hands.

My real rooting interest in this game abated when the Packers got beat. I detest the Seahawks'' coach, Richard Shermsn and Marshawn Lynch. I hope Patriots thrash the Seahawks. Now that's a real positive attitude I hsve about the game;)
