Suns-Pelicans Semifinal Game Coming Up on NBATV

Whatever Harrellson lacks in physical attributes he more than makes up for in his bball IQ. Guy does all the little things of a prototypical glue-guy. I don't know if he will make the Suns roster, but I certainly think he has shown he deserves to be invited to their camp. He brings something different than any of their other bigs (Chandler, Len and Warren are all bad shooters) while being incredibly physical and more than able to hold his own on the block. If he somehow makes that roster I'll be flying to Phoenix to watch them play as they would have four of my favorite Cats (yes, I have a soft-spot for Archie and think he gets a lot of unfair criticism for that team) from the Cal era.

Right now the suns roster is set. But not set in stone. He has a very slim chance.

I think Jorts makes the team. Horny with the dribble drive running very smooth today. They don't make the final game tommorrow without Jorts.

The Summer League means next to nothing, but after the last few games, it's hard not to think that Devin Booker has star written all over him. We know he can hit shots, but he also has the physical tools to defend well and contribute in other ways. And he's going to be the youngest player in the league. Bright, bright future.

Booker is going to be a good player in the league. He will be a key player off the bench for Phoenix this year. I mean could they start Knight, Bledsoe and Booker and go 3 guards? I admit I know jack about Phoenix for the most part overall minus the UK players.

where was this defense against Wi????????

Isiah Thomas is horrible as a commentator

Harrellson has had a solid Summer League showing. I find it difficult to see where an NBA, such as the Suns, couldn't find a spot for a guy with his size and work ethic. He will never be a star but sure could be a very solid role player who could give them some good minutes off the bench. He's tough and can shoot the ball so he has value as a good backup in the league. Sure would love to see him back in the NBA and have a journeyman like career, maybe hang around and pick up some good paychecks for 10+ seasons. Always liked the kid at UK and wish him the best of success.

He was the youngest player in the building, on a giant stage that had been extra hyped, after a long grind of a season. His shot was in a slump, which almost always affects your overall play as a youngster, and he was probably physically and emotionally exhausted.

After getting drafted, having nothing to do except workout and learn basketball and be a millionaire, it's no surprise his defensive play and shot have improved in only a few months.
