Around the SEC-

> Oh God, why?

> SEC East proved to be stronger than originally anticipated and the West... For the love of all things holy... The West.

> LSU and Bama did not show up on the defensive side at all and the key to all the great BCS champion teams had disappeared. Needless to say- if the defense we knew and loved (or hated) during the regular season had shown up, the SEC would have another 2 wins.

-------

> FSU was overrated. Imagine that. It's disgusting that a team like TCU got nudged out by a team like FSU- a team that BARELY went undefeated in the ACC. I don't know how many times they squeaked one out or had a favorable call (a la Notre Dame), but they got exposed big time on the big stage. All the football geniuses saying that you can't argue with the head-to-head or undefeated record need to be hit in the head with a record. Baylor or TCU were infinitely more deserving than FSU and it makes me ache for an expanded bracket. From now on, the idea that an undefeated team should get in regardless of other factors should be thrown out the window. Absolutely PITIFUL.

> Coach Marrow has supposedly met with Michigan. I think he stays regardless of if UK writes him a blank check... But a little more blue green in his pocket wouldn't offend him at all...

> Still no word on ST coach

> 2016 recruits twitter page hints at a possible big commit very soon

> Florida v. ECU. A chance to see what could've been. 20-28 as of now. Looks like the East found the West's defense....

> Commonwealth still under construction. Buddy of mine working the project tells me that when finished, it'll be NICE. Very very nice.

> Damien Harris is a lock for UK one day and a lock for BAMA the next. Plot twist- it's Michigan. I still say it's UK. Based on a feeling.

This Mashup came a day early! I'll be out tomorrow and figured to put this up today since I likely won't have time to do a write-up tomorrow. Hope you all had an incredible holiday season and have a safe, prosperous New Year. That goes for fans of all teams. Fandom doesn't come before humanity!

Go Big Blue!

Wait, wait, you can't leave yet.

I need to hear more about the 16 commit twitters, who and what are we talking about, link? We need some good news, I don't think it happens but the Marrow negotiations are very scary, still think that, although it isn't his job, Stoops could turn a couple hundred thou gift to his friend into a million dollar raise in a couple of years. Didn't Brooks do that, and doesn't it sound like Harbaugh did also? Sounds like a good investment to me based on the potential MONEY returned alone, plus making your job a lot more successful and enjoyable.

NOT that it should be necessary, but you know mitch, and apparently it was necessary in Brooks case.

I sure hope that Marrow stays and that we hear something definitive on that subject very soon. The situation with Marrow has me worried more than anything else, even the Damien Harris decision. Someone posted yesterday that Marrow is the recruiter responsible for something like 52% of our 4 star prospects. If that number is even close to being accurate, that shows just how critical he is to this program.

^don't know about the 52% of 4 stars, could very well be, but did read where he's responsible for 30% of all recruits since Stoops arrived. That's a very high number.

2015 UK has four 4 stars. Marrow is responsible for 3 of them.
2014 UK had 10 four stars. Marrow responsible for 5 of them.
2013 UK had 3 four stars. Marrow responsible for 1 of them.

17 four stars over all the last 3 years and Marrow was responsible for 9.
9/17= 52.9% Transfers not included.

Heard would make the percent higher
10/18 = 55.5%
