I know BrianPoe's thread got nixed earlier, so I'm sure this one will too. But, I can't be the only one here that thinks that stupid nicknames (Sextino, Pimptino, UNCheat, and the one I can't remember that people called Mitch Barnhart) are silly, not funny, and make the poster's seem really immature and petty. I'm all for calling people out. Making fun of Pitino, North Carolina and whoever. I just think the names make people look silly. Am I alone?

UNCheat / UNC** deserves an asterisk until they get cleaned of a bunch of wins and titles. As for Louisville, they also need to get cleaned... for different reasons.

I think I coined the UNC*** (with three asterisks) moniker. Other than that, most of them are just played out. They may have been funny at first, but if used repetitively over months, they do get a little tired.
But overall, I'm perfectly fine with nicknames when it comes to chode programs like Uavel, UNC***, IU, Dook, KU, etc.

For the most part I don't care at all. The only one I really don't like is Uavel. It's the same reason I hate when people say that Louisville is pronounced Looh-a-vull. I don't think it's funny and it makes people from Kentucky look like they can't speak the language correctly.
