Strong to SCar?

Feels like things are falling into place for this to happen this year. Possibly Saban to texas for real this time? Only going to get worse for both texas and south carolina if they keep Strong and Spurrier IMO.

Would love to beat Strong in CWS next year.

1. It's a name that will generate some buzz. Strong has big SEC connections and can recruit there. And its south carolina stl, might be best they can do. Also, word has been out for quite a long time that strong has always wanted the SC job. For whatever reason.

2. Dont know, seems a little tired of Bama. Was close to leaving last time.

Agreed. Again, Texas has an interim AD and apparently will for a while. He won't fire but if he did who could he hire? Not a coach worth his salt would take a job not knowing who his AD would be. Texas is stuck with Strong.

Central Florida is 0-5. Willie Taggert is 7-21 in three years at South Florida. Those seem like more his speed after a bed crapping like this.

Strong will have to earn going to another P5 conference and will probably have to take a lower conference school job to show he isn't damaged goods.

I don't really think Saban was as close to leaving as some made it sound. Jimmy Sexton, Saban's agent, is a genius at getting his guys the most money possible.

I think Strong is a pretty good coach. He cleaned house at Texas and that is why they are so bad now. I think given a chance he can win there if he can recruit Texas. He needs to hook up with the Texas version of Hurt I guess, but I do think the guy can coach.

Yeah, tired of shutting people up who count Bama out. 24-3 at UGA...guy is not going anywhere.
