I'm a long time lurker and I don't post too much. I want to make it clear that there are many fans of UK football who turn to this site for insight and conversation about our football team.
Yet I am starting to have a problem with the environment here. What do you people expect from our team? We are on pace for a bowl game, which is about where most realistic fans hoped for at this point in the rebuild.
We have posters that only gripe and moan (or Troll) about our recruiting, which is at an all time high. Can we start being a better fanbase instead of a bunch of whining fools? We have something better than ever and it's only going to get better!
I hope we win tomorrow, but I'm not giving up if we don't. And I'm not going to cry that we don't have the best DL prospects knocking down our door.
It's a process people! Rome wasn't built in one day and neither will KY football. We are heading in the right direction and I believe our staff is the best we can hope to have at this point in time.
Yes, our players still have much to improve, as do our coaches. Yet most of all, our fanbase needs to learn how to appreciate a good thing when it is here and now.
