God these people in the studio are ridiculous. Maryland-East Shore is freaking 1-8 and playing a team with a bunch of upperclassmen (8 juniors and seniors) and ranked number 1. We beat a team that is 7-3 and much better competition by 21 and held them over 20 points below their scoring average and we are relying on a bunch of freshmen and a sophomore. Plus another freshman coming in soon.
We have two guys coming off of injuries as well (3 if you don't think Poythress is 100% yet). We are going to have growing pains. No one said we are going to be playing great yet, but we have more room for improvement than pretty much any other team that is likely to contend for the title. We aren't going to beat teams by 70 and we likely will lose a number of games this year. They need to stop ranking teams until about a month in and then they can judge them by their performance compared to their rankings.
