Hard to complain after our slow start yesterday.
That first half did suck tho.

Not trying to be an ass, but this will have very little (if any) significance on next weeks game.
Pretty significant IMO. Speaks to the coaching staff’s ability to access personnel and tweak the game plan/play- calling after seeing what we’ve got week one.
We'll get some people back we didn't have. And I suspect we see a more concerted run game effort.
So how a head coach's teams have performed, in week 2, against conference opponents, over the course of many seasons has little or no significance?

Why? Its a known fact that the progress teams make from week 1 to week 2 is usually significant.

And we don't have the same team, my very point! Doesn't matter what any other team has done in game 2 in any other year. Proper progress can only be determined based on the play of each team in the given year.
I get it Crash but, patterns can be established and have been. No, we are not the same team but while we clearly have digressed in the OL our ST and WR have taken a step forward. And while CRod is out Smoke is going to have to step up at least somewhat as I believe until CRod returns UK will be pass heavy and would be wise to leave the RBs back to pass block for our Heisman candidate.

Plenty more important factors determine victory or defeat other than week 2 progress in games played years ago, that is my point.
Some of you can not handle any comment you perceive to be negative.
