I’m curious who the OP thinks UK could and WOULD get to replace CMS?
A & M - with all their advantages- said they contacted 30 coaches and ended up with a former assistant with 2 years experience as a HC at Duke.

OP- give me names of great proven replacements that UK certainly could sign?

First of all, my post is about architecture. So I am not sure where this question came from. BUT since you asked. My favorite UK coach ever was Coach Rich Brooks. He built the foundation and we are today where we are. The only thing that CRB did "wrong" if you want to blame him would be designating Joker as HC in waiting. That was a "forced" DEI hire. The CJ ridiculed MB for not hiring Doug Williams for crise sakes.

But who now? Not my job to know that. Hopefully there is a bunch of actual FB guys in the Athletics Dept who know whether to go after an NFL assistant or heck, we had Coach Bill Parcells interested back years ago. Dream big.

Not being smart but your answer is honest but you don’t know and can’t venture a name. If AM contacted 30 coaches and had to take an unproven 2 year HC then UK would be in the same boat/trouble.

I hope Mitch has a list but it sounded like he was going with Brad White, Vince or Sumrall. All risky.
