Stoops makes 9mil/yr tied for 5th in SEC

The Vandy QB was a lucky find. He is making them a one hit wonder. Watch what happens next year when he is gone. Having said that UK gave away the game with 12 penalties careless turnovers and botched snaps on special teams.

I would love to have a one hit wonder season where we beat Alabama at their place.

If Pavia played at UK, his will would be broken, I’d honestly question if he would ever see the field under Stoops.

The problem with the Stoops money and contract is you’re paying for him building us out of the dumpster of the SEC more than you’re paying him to accomplish anything moving forward. The football program is topped out under Stoops and the discourse will continue to sound very much like the Cal conversations we had the last 5 years. Main difference is Stoops has the saving grace of UK football not having history or real standards that has protected him to this point.

There’s no reason for UK to have that type of contractual commitment and not have any real reason for hope/optimism for the future to be relevant nationally.

The Vandy defense was a lot better then expected
