He Hasn’t changed. He isn’t going to change. He isn’t a good coach, nor after 11 years will he get any better. He used his Family’s Name to get the job. Struggled early until he caught Lightning in a bottle with Benny Snell, Chris Rodriguez, Lynn Bowden, and Josh Allen. Caught UL during a down time to get Kentucky’s best HS players.
Even with that he really hasn’t beat anyone. Beat Florida and South Carolina when both programs were down. Beat UL when their program was down. Beat MAC teams because you are supposed to. Not really close to Georgia or Tennessee or Missouri at the present. Have lost a home game to Vandy. And back to back games to South Carolina.
In all of this it isn’t the losses as much as HOW WE LOSE each game. Making Heisman Trophy Candidates of opposition QBs. Poor tackling. Poor Clock Management. Bonehead Penalties. Receivers dropping wide open passes. Calling a 30 yard pass when you need 5 yards. Playing for Field Goals instead of TDs. Playing very Undisciplined . And the list goes on and on.
