Good for Mike, if true. I'm sure he'll be happy to have another opportunity to be a head coach. I hope he does well out there.
This will also be an opportunity for UK to add another young, energetic, recruiter type to replace him with. While Mike is a good coach, I haven't heard his name associated with a single recruit in his time here. We need to add some heavy hitting recruiters to this staff to help replace what we lost when guys like Sumrall, Clink and Wolford moved on. All one needs to do to see our recruiting has taken a significant downturn is to look at our current commit list. We've got to turn that around quickly.

Although it’s hard for to hire a guy with no experience but he knows the game and would kill it recruiting.
Should have done bet yes r than a coach that has recruited and landed more high level recruits than anyone in our staff in the past excluding Marrow maybe. He also is being targeted as a head coach possibility. He was a great hire by Mark.
He was a short timer on the way to the next spot. Plus it's never a good thing to hire family.

Or, we just don't care to compete. 9 game SEC sched is coming. Texas & Oklahoma are coming. Yearly 4 game slates against the bottom SEC teams (Vandy, Mizzou, USCjr, Miss St) while avoiding superpowers is going away.

Good for Mike. I feel he did a good job this year dealing with Jones and Square getting injured and having Wallace and Jackson as the starters.
I'd be alright bringing Bob in to replace him. Of course that will never happen.
