I’ll make a contrarian post here that many will disagree with:

Jaxson Robinson 📈 - working on an excellent season, has only gotten better in SEC play. Has made 29 in conference on 47.5% shooting. His defense on small ball handlers in Butlers absence has been excellent. Much maligned early in the season, he has proven his worth and proven Pope’s recruiting of him was justified.

Otega Oweh 📉 - got off to a hot start as he flashed a 3/3 from downtown in the opening game of the season. He has hit 12 since. Only 2/12 in SEC play - Garrison, Carr and Perry all have more. In losses, he is averaging 10.8 2pa - a common theme. On defense, he can make a flashy steal and runout - but he gets lost and floats around just as much.

I think Robinson has shown his value and you can trust Pope’s evaluation a bit, knowing we went with him over some others.

I think Oweh is regressive down to his actual abilities - but we need him to pick it up. A lack of a 3p threat or even 3p attempter from the 2 spot getting 30 min a game in this offense is not ideal.

(Sorry, original post cut off a lot)
