I've been arguing with the "sky is falling" segment of the fan base on here and have actually been more mad at the insane reactions to the loss than the loss itself, but I think we might lose Saturday unfortunately. I base that on our lackluster play since Duke, Louisville being much better than we thought even though they have not beaten a team with a pulse, but either way looking much more cohesive and tougher than us, and the fact that they are due by the simple law of averages. The only thing that gives me hope is playing in Rupp, our team may actually come out to play since its Louisville, and Calipari's owning Pitino. Who really knows? I don't feel very confident.
Yes, but only because (1) it's at Rupp; (2) UofL will hopefully come in over-confident based on their easy schedule ego boost and looking at how we've played; and (3) Cal should have their attention this week and hopefully some changes will be made for the better.
I truly don't know what to expect, though. The sky isn't falling, but it's not quite as high up there as I once thought it was. This team is still completely salvageable, I just believe that it's going to take a little bit of outside the box thinking and Cal willing to mix some things up in ways that he might not be all that comfortable with.
