Found this interesting story interesting. Not surprising Texas would have the most #1 picks in the NFL Draft (14) -with California close 2nd with 12.
What I found interesting, with all the talk of the level of talent in Florida - there has only been 1, #1 NFL Draft Pick from Florida - in 1965... and 2, #1 NFL Picks from Kentucky. 1957 - Paul Hornung and 1999 Tim Couch.
When also consider that Ohio has had 6 #1 NFL Draft Picks - it is a shame Kentucky did not prioritize that area earlier.
